Dear Humom Connie and All My U Stream Friends,

My life here in Ohio has been getting pretty routine and comfortable.  In the morning Daddy Sam comes home from work. Daisy, DC, Hot Shot and I run up to him and tell him we love him very much and missed him. We have a  jump up and down, arf arf routine so all of us get lots of loving.  Daisy always brings him a present, usually the couch pillow, sometimes a sock or a shoe and once and awhile a pair of underwear. He is very appreciative of the attention he gets from us because Mom Maggi is still in bed and says after 37 years if he doesn’t know she loves him, no amount of jumping up and down or arfing is going to help.  Although she did mention throwing underwear at his feet might liven things up around here.

My day then consists of playing, eating and sleeping.  I LOVE warm days.  Mom Maggi leaves the door open and we can run in and out without having to have to ask her to go out.  We run and play and play and run.  I am a very fast runner now and soon may be able to keep up with DC.  Boy, does he fly!!!

In the afternoon, Mom Maggi gets out my very own special lead.  Now that she knows that treats  go with that lead-I get very excited and run to the door so she can practice walking me.  And she is getting so much better.  She has learned just the right words to get me to walk on my special lead.  Bless her heart, she may be a bit slow on the uptake; but, once she learns something, it sticks and she does very well.
